BR 500 BACKPACK PETROL LEAF BLOWER: FOR AREA WORK WITH REDUCED OPERATING NOISE

Reduce the noise without sacrificing the power. The STIHL BR 500 features a powerful, low-emission 4-MIX® engine and specially designed muffled blower tube to significantly reduce operating noise. This makes the BR 500 an excellent choice for use in residential neighborhoods or in municipalities with noise restrictions. The BR 500 also features a rubberised 2-component handle, locking throttle lever with stop button and two-position adjustable blower tube, giving you greater control over its powerful airflow. The STIHL anti-vibration system and wide, ergonomically shaped shoulder straps enable for comfortable use.

  • STIHL 4-MIX® ENGINE: FOR FANTASTIC ENGINE POWER WITH LOW MAINTENANCE. The STIHL 4-MIX® engine is a four-stroke engine that does not require any oil circuit components, thanks to refueling with an oil and gasoline mix. That’s why it’s more compact, more lightweight, and requires less maintenance than conventional four-stroke engines, while at the same time being powerful and offering a comfortable sound pattern. STIHL 4-MIX® engines comply with the European Stage V emissions directive.
  • MUFFLER: REDUCES NOISE EMISSION. The muffler significantly reduces perceptible noise, while maintaining your blower’s high performance. Even with the muffler, suitable hearing protection must be worn during work.
  • Decompression system: The decompression valve allows some of the compression pressure in the cylinder to escape, so less force on the starter rope is needed.
  • Anti-vibration system: Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has therefore developed an effective anti-vibration system whereby the oscillations from the machine’s engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations at the handles.
  • Multi-function control handle: Easy, comfortable thumb-operated control means the operator’s hand never leaves the handle.
