Description

The HL 94 C-E petrol-driven long-reach hedge trimmer is ideal for professional garden and landscape maintenance as well as demanding domestic work. You can use the long-reach hedge trimmer to cut back very tall, long and wide hedges, and to work effectively near the ground. The loop handle means the STIHL HL 94 C-E offers efficient operation, even in confined spaces. The long-reach hedge trimmer’s lightweight gearbox also supports you during longer work intervals.

Powered by the STIHL 2-MIX engine, you can powerfully and precisely cut thicker branches with the double-sided cutting blades. STIHL ErgoStart makes it easier to get the engine going with less effort, by means of a slower and even start-up process. The manual fuel pump reduces the number of start-up strokes, and therefore accelerates the starting process.

All control elements are integrated into the multi-function handle on the STIHL HL 94 C-E. The STIHL ECOSPEED partial load function enables you to control the engine speed directly on the multi-function handle, so that you can adjust the power to suit your individual requirements when working for longer intervals, whilst also saving fuel. The quick-adjustment system means the cutter bar, which can be swiveled through a total of 145°, can be progressively adjusted in 2 directions and folded parallel to the shaft for transport. An optional STIHL tip protector protects the tip of your STIHL HL 94 C-E cutting attachment from damage when working close to the ground.

  • STIHL 2-MIX-Engine: The STIHL 2-mix engine specially designed for the new generation of hedge trimmer combines low consumption and emissions ​​with low weight and excellent acceleration. There are also always sufficient power reserves for cutting thicker shrubs.
  • STIHL ErgoStart (FT): A genuine advance in easy starting. STIHL ErgoStart (E) cuts the effort required to start the tool by half, while the starter cord can be pulled at just one third of the normal force. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.
  • Manual fuel pump (purger): A small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburetor at the touch of a button. This reduces the number of starting pulls required following extended breaks in operations.
  • STIHL ECOSPEED: With the ECOSPEED function, you can use your long reach hedge trimmer in a more economical operating mode. Simply turn the wheel to the minus direction, thereby reducing the maximum engine speed. This keeps your long reach hedge trimmer running at partial load; however, despite this limited setting, you can shift to full capacity, when necessary, by pressing the throttle lever. Operating at partial load reduces fuel consumption and you can work much longer with one tank.
  • Blade system: Double-sided cutting blades ensure a powerful and precise cut even through thicker branches. 
  • Quick-release adjustment system: The cutter bar can be adjusted in increments up to 145° in two directions. To save space, the cutter bar can be folded parallel to the shaft, and locked, for transport.
  • Loop handle: The loop handle gives you maximum flexibility and easy operation even in confined working conditions.
  • Shoulder strap / carrying system: Using a STIHL shoulder strap or carrying harness with soft padding makes work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs.
